What About, Out & About?
Out & About Notary was founded in 2012 in Elk Grove, CA. The owner, Shonja D. Mainor was looking for part-time work but didn't want to work 20 hrs/week at an establishment to do it. Becoming a notary sounded like a better plan so she started as just a Notary Public. Notarizing a document here and there just wasn't what she meant by part-time money. She was still looking for more income. Shonja then became a Certified Notary Signing Agent, providing notary services for title companies and signing services. In 2019, Out & About Notary LLC branched out and started hiring notaries for loan signings. Shonja had a vision to run and manage her own Signing Service. She has talked to many others looking for additional income but alsonot wanting to take away valuable time from family and themselves.
